I am an experienced and award-winning teacher. At Stanford, I am currently teaching undergraduate and graduate seminars of my own design, including a graduate core seminar on modern political thought and an advanced undergraduate seminar on “misinformation and democracy: past and present.” I have also taught as a Teaching Assistant at Stanford University and Tel Aviv University for a variety of undergraduate courses in political theory, including in history of political thought and contemporary moral and political theory. In each class I strive to foster enthusiasm and curiosity among my students. I work to speak to students coming from a wide range of academic backgrounds, to anchor the philosophical and theoretical materials in both rich historical context and contemporary examples and case studies, and to create and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment. At Stanford, I was a Mentor-in-Teaching Fellow for two years. During that time, I supported the teaching needs of my colleagues and also learned from Stanford’s teaching experts how to improve my own work as a teacher and educator. I have received several honors and awards in recognition of my teaching work. As a teaching assistant at Tel Aviv University, I was twice included in the “Top 100 Lecturers” list from across the entire university. In 2020, the School of Humanities and Sciences at Stanford University awarded me the Centennial Teaching Award, the top teaching award for graduate students.
